Sunshine Meditation
It is super healthy to get 20-30 minutes of direct sunshine a couple times a week! That means sunshine without sunblock! It is super important because our bodies need sunshine in order to produce Vitamin D which is hard to get from food. You could take a Vitamin D supplement but I have decided to set aside 20-30 minutes a day for Sunshine Meditation! This is time I give myself in which I find a spot in the house where the sun shines through and I either sit and meditate and enjoy it’s warmth on my body or I enjoy a book or even just browse the Internet on my laptop. It’s really up to you to decide how you use that time. It’s your sunshine time!
Note: It is especially good to find sunshine time in the winter when you may not be able to get outside as much and when you are at a higher risk of getting the blues.
